Dark Ridge is a dystopian view on the world at large but told as a classic Western tale. With a viral outbreak and the threat of walls being built in our current world, it all becomes very real when the global climate begins to rise and the government inevitably falls. Society has disbanded and communities have to form off the grid. Due to humanity’s own neglect of the planet, no one is able to support their agriculture and livestock and famine is real. The Wild West is now under water and the only hope for humanity lies in what’s left in the North East.
